PureStream Terms of Use
1. The service
PureStream is a podcast app and related online service published by S6. It lets you subscribe to, discover, stream, download, and manage podcasts, and may offer optional account and sync features.
2. Third-party podcast content
Podcasts, feeds, images, audio, descriptions, and episodes are provided by their respective publishers and hosts. You are responsible for the content you choose to access and for complying with applicable publisher or host terms. PureStream does not own or control third-party podcast content.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use PureStream to break the law, infringe rights, disrupt or abuse the service, scrape or overload APIs, bypass access controls, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
4. Accounts
A PureStream account is optional unless a specific feature says otherwise. Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may request account deletion at any time.
5. PureStream Plus subscriptions
PureStream Plus is an optional paid subscription. It is not on sale yet; nothing in this section can charge you until we open it, and we will say so on the pricing page and in the changelog when that happens. Current plans and prices are always shown on the pricing page.
5.1 Who you are buying from
For subscriptions bought on this website, S6 is the seller and merchant of record. Payment is taken through Stripe, our payment processor, on a checkout page hosted by Stripe. The total you will be charged, including any applicable taxes, is shown by Stripe before you confirm.
5.2 Signing in
Buying Plus requires signing in, so that the subscription can be attached to an account you can recover. The complete free app does not require signing in and never will. Check current account availability.
5.3 Trial, renewal, and billing
Where a free trial is offered, it runs for 14 days and nothing is charged during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged at the price shown when you signed up. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period — monthly or annually, as you chose — until they are cancelled. We will not change the price of an existing subscription without telling you first.
5.4 Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, so Plus stays active until the end of that period and then reverts to free. There is no penalty and no cancellation fee.
5.5 If a payment fails
If a renewal payment fails, Plus continues for a short grace period of up to seven days while the payment is retried. If payment succeeds in that window the subscription continues normally. If it does not, Plus ends and the account returns to free.
5.6 Refunds
Your statutory rights, including any right to cancel or to a refund under the consumer law that applies to you, are not affected by these terms. For anything else, contact support@s6ops.com and we will deal with it in good faith. Where a refund is completed in full, the corresponding Plus access ends immediately.
5.7 Managing a subscription
You manage a subscription wherever you bought it. Bought on this website, you manage it through the Stripe customer portal we link from your account page. Bought through Google Play, you manage it in Google Play. Bought through the App Store, you manage it in the App Store. We cannot cancel a store subscription on your behalf. 5.8 What Plus does and does not change
Plus is a supporter subscription. The free PureStream experience — playback, RSS and OPML, your library, queue, downloads, discovery, and privacy controls — stays free and is not reduced to make room for it. If a Plus-only capability is ever built, it will be described on the pricing page before it ships. If a subscription ends or lapses for any reason, the complete free app continues to work and your library, downloads, and listening position remain yours.
5.9 Deleting your account
Deleting your PureStream account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store; cancel it in that store as well, or you may continue to be charged. For subscriptions bought on this website, tell us when you request deletion and we will cancel the subscription as part of it.
6. Privacy
Your use of PureStream is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what payment-related information is processed and what is never shared with our payment processor.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We try to keep PureStream reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Disclaimers and liability
PureStream is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, S6 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PureStream. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
