Your data

Delete your data

You can delete what PureStream holds about you at any time, without giving a reason. Here is how, for each place your data can be. S6 Studios Pty Ltd, the company that makes PureStream, is responsible for it.

On this website

The website holds data only if you signed in to vote on the community board, or sent us an idea or feedback.

  • If you signed in to vote: go to the community page, sign in, and choose Delete my data. It deletes your account and your votes, any ideas still waiting for review and any feedback sent with the same email address, straight away. Download my data, next to it, gives you a copy first if you want one.
  • If you sent feedback or an idea without signing in, or you would rather we did it: email support@purestreamapp.com from the address you used and tell us what to delete. We delete it within one month, and usually much sooner, and confirm by email.

Ideas that are already on the public board stay there, but without your name or email. Vote totals go down by your votes.

In the app

What the app keeps on your phone is deleted when you uninstall PureStream, or when you clear its storage (Settings, then Apps, then PureStream, then Storage, then Clear storage). If your phone backs apps up to your Google account, that backup may keep a copy until the backup is replaced or deleted.

On our app servers

To find out what our servers hold about you, or to have it deleted, email support@purestreamapp.com. We reply within one month.

What we delete without being asked

  • Voter accounts and their votes, 24 months after the last sign-in.
  • Ideas still waiting for review, after 6 months.
  • The email address and screenshot sent with feedback, after 12 months, and the feedback itself after 24 months.
